Dead mice fall from the sky???
It's very amazing plan to kill snakes by Guam's Andeson Air Force Base.
The dead body of drug-laced mice will be dropped from the helicopters.
They will try to eradicate the brown tree snake from the land, which will eat the mice and will be killed in 72 hours.
The brown snakes have wiped out most of native Guam's native populations of forest birds and the most annoying is causing numerous power outrages each year.
They have no predetaors so that they have increased as many as 2 million.
I remember there were often blackouts at the hotel in Guam. They said snakes bit the power lines. It seems very troublesome for them.
But I think it's a dangerous strategy because it might destroy not only the number of snakes but also other natural life.
