Heron's cry

When I was walking in the evening a few days ago, I heard scream loudly.

It was familiar but very noisy and scary.

I couldn't find where they were and walk  ed along the riverside swiftly.

After I crossed the road I saw something on the big tree. A couple of big white herons are staying on the tree.

They rest on the tree where they had made nests.

I wondered if they were preparing for laying eggs.

Their voice seemed very nervously and tried to protect their home from enemies like crows or other birds.

Isn't it the season for them to raise babies  soon?
