Spirits in the woods
I've watched the TV program "the power of travel" by chance.
It was a kind of documentary, each time somewhere in the world, a trotter by a celebrity. I watched the one by Kansai Yamamito, who is a designer famous in the world, well known as in the Paris Collection big name.
He explored into Papua New Guinea the origin color of fashion.
He stayed with one of the religious race in the deep mountain who were expelled in the end of the war. They had to survive in the woods and being protected by the great spirits in the woods.
Kansai wanted to see their traditional ceremony in harmony with spirits in the woods. But at first he was rejected because of its secret and serene of the fear for spirits.
Kansai's passion was never dead even the native people were strongly hiding and declining from his offer.
Finally his effort made their mind move and they showed secret dance with spirits in the woods.
It reminds me of the movie "mononoke prince" by Hayao Miyazaki. The movie was very old, almost 20 years ago.
I was moved with the spirits in the woods in that movie.
It was one of my favorite movies in my life.
So I recall about the spirits in my mind as well as those in the woods now.
